J​ulie Battel is a compassionate and seasoned healthcare professional. Focusing on the unique background and needs of each individual, she is dedicated to educating patients about medical cannabis. She is a graduate of Brown University and earned a Masters in Public Health and a degree in Midwifery at Boston University. She was an Americorps volunteer for Project Recovery on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota and was instrumental in the creation of the National Organization on Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.

Julie was a Certified Nurse Midwife at Massachusetts General Hospital for 13 years. In addition to serving as a community health organizer for Braintree Healthy People, she has worked in various positions at Planned Parenthood. Most recently, she worked with homeless pregnant and parenting mothers throughout the greater Boston area in the Bridges to Moms program.
