The cosmos is aligning for an exciting event: the new moon solar eclipse. This celestial phenomenon marks a powerful time for relaxation, celebration, and meditation, rather than immediate planting. Instead of sowing seeds now, I’ll use this time to set intentions and embrace the energy of renewal.
During the following waxing phase, I’ll begin preparing the soil, ensuring it’s rich and ready for planting during the upcoming full moon. My cannabis seeds have already begun their journey, as I started germinating them during the March full moon cycle, aligning with nature’s rhythms for optimal growth. As part of my new moon preparations, I’ll also be setting out jars of water infused with Reiki stones and crystals to create moon water. This energetically charged water will nourish my seedlings when they emerge, further connecting them to the cycles of the moon and the energy of renewal.
The Lunar Connection to Growth
The moon has long been known to influence the tides, and its gravitational pull also affects plant life. By following lunar cycles, growers can maximize the natural energy shifts that encourage strong, healthy plants. The waxing phase after a new moon is the perfect time to nurture and prepare the soil, while the full moon provides ideal conditions for planting and transplanting.
A Thriving Ecosystem Begins Now
While cannabis will be the star of my garden, I’m also planting a variety of companion plants to create a thriving ecosystem. Snapdragons will invite dragonflies, which help control pests naturally. Milkweed will attract beautiful butterflies, supporting pollinators essential to the environment. A special mix of flowers will draw in bees, ensuring a flourishing, biodiverse space. And to top it off, I’m adding edible flowers—not only for their aesthetic appeal but also for their culinary and medicinal benefits.
Setting Intentions with the New Moon Solar Eclipse Energy
New moons symbolize renewal, and an eclipse adds an extra layer of transformation and intention-setting. Just as I nurture my plants from seed to bloom, I take this moment to reflect on my personal growth, wellness, and goals for the season ahead. Whether you’re growing cannabis for personal wellness or patient care, this is a powerful time to plant the seeds—both in the soil and in your life—when the time is right.
Get Growing!
If you’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to start your garden, consider this your sign to begin preparing. The new moon solar eclipse offers a unique opportunity to align with nature’s cycles and set intentions, while the upcoming full moon will be the prime time for planting. Whether it’s cannabis, pollinator-friendly blooms, or nourishing herbs, working with the moon’s energy can set the stage for a season of abundance.

Happy growing! 🌱🌑✨
